Excell Security Founder Joe Mackey
Joe Mackey, CAC, CSP
Founder and President

Joe Mackey has nearly three decades of experience in business and management, with particular emphasis in the security, hospitality and event staffing industries. Joe provided events and security staffing at Texas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and worked in  hospitality, tourism, and special event staffing in Las Vegas, including Las Vegas Convention Center, Cashman Field, and the Thomas and Mack Center. In 1996, Joe founded XL Staffing, one of San Diego’s largest staffing firms. He established  Excell Security, Inc. in 2000 to meet demand for a professional security firm offering high levels of customer service. Excell Security has since grown into one of Southern California’s leading private security firms. Under Joe’s leadership, the firm developed and introduced the innovative Nightclub Security Program now utilized by nightclub owners and managers throughout San Diego, Los Angeles, and Hollywood.  Joe is a leader within the profession, currently serving as President of the California Staffing Professionals, the state trade association serving the $70 billion staffing industry. In addition, Joe was elected to the El Cajon Valley School Board in El Cajon, CA, and served as President of both the El Cajon School Board and the Cajon Valley Educational Foundation.

Excell Security VP Stacy Mackey-Winkler
Stacy Mackey-Winkler, CAC, CSP
Vice President

As Vice President, Stacy Mackey-Winkler is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the firm’s administrative and financial operations, including office management & staff, accounting, computer systems, and the firm’s extensive payroll functions.  A Certified Staffing Professional, Stacy’s warm personality and extensive business and management skills are ideally suited the task. In addition, Stacy is involved with several industry and community organizations, including Treasurer of the San Diego Chapter of California Staffing Professionals, Board Member of the Cajon Valley Education Foundation, and the Girl Scouts of America. She is a graduate of the Leadership East County class of 2005/2006, where she earned the Visionary Award.

Stephanie Mackey
Security Director

As Recruiting Supervisor, Stephanie Mackey is responsible for finding and recruiting qualified, talented and motivated job seekers. Stephanie's duties include "e-cruiting", scouring all electronic job boards and other Internet based networking sources. Stephanie has many years of customer service training and demonstrates excellent people skills. Her competitive nature drives her to get the BEST people for the BEST jobs.
